FOX “Empire” Casting Call for Club Scene

Casting directors are looking for Caucasian, Asian, Hispanic, Mid Eastern and ethnically ambiguous extras ages 21 to 35, to play upscale club goers and employees of Empire Entertainment. The show is looking for people who can pull off some hot, upscale club looks as well as New York fashinistas and hipsters. The scenes will be filming shortly in the Chicago area and all roles are paid ($80 / 8).

Empire”  stars Terrence Howard  as Lucious, the founder and CEO of Empire Entertainment.  Lucious receives some bad news. He comes to find out that his days at the helm of his hip hop empire are numbered. He is diagnosed with a terminal illness and must now find his successor. He has 3 sons, none of which are acceptable replacements.  One son is gay, another lacks ambition and the third lacks an ear for music.   Complicating the situation is Lucious’s ex wife, Cookie, played by Taraji P. Henson. She went to prison for Lucious and now she wants her piece of the pie as well.

Please note that the show is only looking for the below mentioned ethnicities at this time because all other ethnicities have already been booked from previous casting notices.

MALE & FEMALE, CAUCASIAN/ASIAN/HISPANIC/MIDDLE EASTERN/ETHNIC AMBIGUOUS, AGE RANGE: 25-50 YEARS.
*THE LOOK: NEW YORK STYLE, HIPSTER MEN WITH BEARDS (THINK “WICKER PARK” TYPES), FASHIONISTA WOMEN, FASHION DESIGNERS, HIP MUSIC INDUSTRY TYPES.

WE ARE ONLY ACCEPTING SUBMISSIONS OF THESE ETHNICITIES AT THIS TIME BECAUSE WE HAVE RECEIVED HUNDREDS OF SUBMISSIONS FOR THE VARIOUS AFRICAN AMERICAN EXTRA ROLES.

3) Send a head shot, professional or candid photo in jpeg format –Make sure the photo is taken in decent lighting (no selfies), no sunglasses. Show us your style but make sure we can see your face! The better the photo, the better your chance of being submitted. Everyone will be hand picked by the director and producer.
4) If you have submitted before, state what you submitted for.

Click on the photo and it will give you an option to re-name the file, Re-name it with your full name. We need you to start doing this on every submission.

There will be a lot of opportunities to be cast on the show, if you submit incorrectly, it will be noted.
